Military border guards stationed at the Milak border terminal in Zabol have reportedly subjected Baluch Kolbars to physical abuse and humiliation.
According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, border guards at the Milak border terminal assaulted and insulted several Baluch Kolbars attempting to cross the terminal. A specific officer identified as “Azarian” is reported to have verbally abused, beaten, and humiliated the Kolbars.
These violent and demeaning actions, often involving intimidation, insults, and physical abuse, are reportedly a daily occurrence at the hands of military forces. In some instances, guards have used firearms to threaten porters, frequently confiscating their goods and belongings as well.
