In a tragic incident, three workers lost their lives due to a wall collapse in the village of Dehno, Yezd.

According to Kolbarnews, three workers lost their lives due to a wall collapse in the village of Dehno, Yezd. This unfortunate event occurred due to the wetting of the wall base and improper bricklaying. The workers were trapped under the debris of the collapsed wall and subsequently died.

It is noteworthy that in 2023, a total of 2,115 workers (2,094 men and 21 women) lost their lives in work-related incidents. This represents an 11.3% increase compared to the previous year, where the death toll was 1,900 workers.

Iran is considered one of the least safe countries in terms of workplace safety, with numerous workers annually suffering accidents due to the lack of proper safety measures in work environments.
