Amid poor safety conditions, 10 workers in the cities of Hamedan and Kashan were involved in accidents, resulting in the death of three and injury of seven others.
According to Kolbarnews, Mohammad Malmir, Director of the Hamedan Forensic Medicine Office, reported the death of a 32-year-old worker in Hamedan. The worker fell from the third floor while installing metal scaffolding and, despite being transferred to a medical center, succumbed to severe injuries. Malmir added that in 2022, 78 people died from falls, and in the first five months of this year, 24 workers lost their lives due to work accidents. He highlighted that the most common causes of work-related deaths include falls, collapsing structures, being struck by heavy objects, burns, and oxygen deprivation.
Accidents in Kashan, a fire at the Carbon Sazan Moshfegh company furnace in Amir Kabir Industrial Town killed two workers and injured seven others. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, and the injured were taken to hospitals in Isfahan and Kashan for treatment. The cause of the fire is suspected to be electrical.

Meshgin Shahr Elevator Accident In Meshgin Shahr, a third worker has died following an elevator collapse at a construction site in Muradlu. Three workers fell when the elevator’s cable snapped, killing two immediately. The third worker, hospitalized after the accident, later died from injuries.
