Tekab: Re-arrest of Asad Kakeh, Detained from the Jina Revolutionary Uprising

Asad Kakeh, one of the detainees from the Jina Revolutionary Uprising in the city of Tekab, has been re-arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, Asad Kakeh, a resident of Tekab, was arrested by security forces in this city. The report indicates that Asad Kakeh was apprehended in one of the streets of Tekab by the Intelligence Ministry forces without a judicial warrant. 

As of the time of this report, there is no information available regarding the reasons for the arrest, his current whereabouts, or the charges against him.

Previously, security forces had arrested Asad Kakeh on March 3, 2023, during the Zhina Revolutionary Uprising. After three months of interrogation in the detention centers of Urmia and Tekab, he was temporarily released on bail of three billion tomans, pending the conclusion of judicial proceedings.
