A municipal sanitation worker in Tehran lost his life while on duty due to unsafe working conditions and the lack of proper workplace safety measures.
According to Kolbarnews, citing Herana, the incident occurred on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The head of the Tehran Traffic Police Accident Department stated that at 4:00 a.m., a vehicle traveling on the slow lane of Shahid Zeinuddin Highway (west-to-east direction) near Seraj Street struck a municipal worker due to the driver’s failure to pay attention to the road.
