Tehran; Continued Arbitrary Detention and Uncertainty of Ali Aghamohammadi

Twenty-five days after the arrest of Ali Aghamohammadi, a Kurdish citizen from Helilan in Ilam Province and a resident of Rey, there is still no information available about his place of detention or condition, which has increased concern among his family.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 14, 2026, Ali Aghamohammadi was arrested following a raid by security forces affiliated with the IRGC Intelligence on his residence, without the presentation of a judicial warrant, and was transferred to an unknown location.

Since his arrest, no official institution has provided a clear response regarding his fate.

According to received information, this Kurdish citizen has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer as well as contact and visits with his family during his arbitrary detention, and the continuation of this lack of information has intensified serious concern about his life and fate among his relatives.
