Special Report on the Eighth Anniversary of Kolbarnews 

Since its inception, Kolbarnews has reported on the deaths and injuries of 1,834 Kolbars along the Kurdistan border over the past seven years.

According to Kolbarnews Statistics Center, in the past seven years, from July 17, 2017, to July 17, 2024, a total of 1,834 Kolbars have been killed or injured along the Kurdistan border. Of these, 398 Kolbars (22%) were killed, and 1,440 Kolbars (78%) were injured. Notably, 1,448 of these incidents (79%) were due to direct gunfire from military forces.

The following is the yearly breakdown of kolbars killed and injured over the past seven years:

From July 17, 2017, to the end of 2017:

Year 2018:

– Killed: 70

– Injured: 158

Year 2019:
