A female agricultural worker from the village of Tin lost her life after falling while working.
According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, July 7, 2024, Khavar Sadeghi, a female agricultural worker from the village of Tin and resident of Shahou, fell while picking mulberries from a tree.
Khavar Sadeghi was transferred to a Hospital in Paveh after the fall. However, due to multiple injuries and fractures to her body and head, she passed away a few hours later.
It is worth noting that in Iran, a total of 2,115 workers (2,094 men and 21 women) lost their lives in work-related accidents in 2023.
This represents an 11.3 percent increase compared to the previous year, which had 1,900 fatalities. Iran ranks 102nd in the world for workplace safety, which is a very low ranking.
