A Kolbar from Sardasht has been sentenced to death on charges of espionage for Israel.

According to Kolbarnews, the Third Branch of the Regime’s Revolutionary Court in Urmia, presided over by Judge Reza Najafzadeh, has sentenced “Edris Ali,” a 31-year-old Kolbar from Sardasht, to death on the fabricated charge of “espionage for Israel.”

In this case, a total of eight Kolbars from the cities of Sardasht, Bukan, and Saqqez have been arrested. Five of them have been released on bail, while three remain in prison, with the exact sentences of two of them yet to be determined.

During his detention, Mr. Ali has been denied the right to a lawyer, and sources indicate that he has been subjected to torture to extract a forced confession.
