A collision between a Sukhtbari vehicle and a truck in Sarbaz County resulted in the death of two Sukhtbars and the injury of one person.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, a Sukhtbari pickup truck collided with a trailer truck in the Sarkur region of Sarbaz County, causing the death of two Sukhtbars and injuring one other person.
The identities of the deceased Sukhtbars have been confirmed as: Morteza Sarkuri, approximately 20 years old, son of Adham. Saud Baluchi, approximately 23 years old, son of Abdulmajid. Both were residents of Gazektan village in the Sarkur region.
The injured Sukhtbar has been identified as: Hedayatollah Siriazehi, approximately 22 years old, son of Enayatollah, a resident of Padik village, Sarbaz County.
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
