A Sukhtbar lost his life, and another citizen was injured in a car accident in Saravan.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, March 7, 2025, a Peugeot 405 and a Pride Sukhtbar collided in Saravan County, resulting in the death of the Sukhtbar driver and injuries to a Peugeot 405 passenger.
The deceased Sukhtbar has been identified as Mohammad Zomakzehi, 20 years old, son of Ali, and a resident of Qandab village, in the Paskouh district of Sib and Soran County.
Reports indicate that the Sukhtbari vehicle was not carrying any cargo at the time of the accident. Due to the severity of the crash, Mohammad Zomakzehi died instantly. So far, the identity of the injured citizen remains unknown.
6Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
