Saravan: Beating and injuring a Baloch child by his teacher

A 7-year-old child in first grade was subjected to physical beating and abuse by his teacher.

According to Kolbarnews on Sunday, April 7, a Baloch child in first grade at 13 Aban Dezak School in Saravan was beaten and injured by the teacher for not completing assignments. The identity of this child, “Mohammad Taha Karim Khani,” a 7-year-old from Dezak village in Saravan county, is known.

The Balochistan Department of Education announced the formation of a file against the offending teacher, stating: “In investigations, the first action taken was to inform the school principal, cancel the class, and refer the relevant teacher for disciplinary proceedings to the Balochistan Department of Education for administrative procedures and addressing administrative violations.”

It is worth mentioning that Mohammad Taha, a first-grade student at 13 Aban Dezak School, was punished by his class teacher (A.D) for not completing assignments, resulting in severe physical and psychological harm.

According to Article 77 of the School Disciplinary Regulations, “Any form of punishment such as humiliation, physical punishment, and assigning academic tasks for punishment of students is prohibited.”
