A Sukhtbari vehicle overturned in the Gasht area of Saravan County, resulting in the death of the driver due to severe injuries.
According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, December 12, 2024, a Sukhtbari vehicle overturned in the Gasht area of Saravan County, and the Sukhtbar succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased Sukhtbar has been identified as Abdul Sattar Mirbaluch, son of Shahdad, a married man with children, and a resident of Grenchin village in Khash County.
The report indicates that the incident occurred last night in the Kuh Koros area near Gasht, Saravan County. For unknown reasons, the Sukhtbari pickup truck veered off the road and overturned, causing fatal injuries to the driver.
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous jobs that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to undertake due to the lack of suitable and sustainable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle rollovers, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports from Baloch activists, in the first six months of 2024, at least 133 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, road accidents, and vehicle fires, while 80 others were injured in these incidents, including 9 children.
