Saqqez: Abdullah Sharifzadeh Sentenced to Ten Months Prison

Abdullah Sharifzadeh, a resident of Saqqez, has been sentenced to ten months in prison by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of the city.

According to Kolbarnews, Abdullah Sharifzadeh was recently sentenced to ten months in prison by Judge Javad Mostafaei, head of the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Saqqez, on charges of “propaganda against the regime in favor of an opposition party.” 

The court session for this case was held on March 12, 2024, at the Revolutionary Court of Saqqez. 

Abdullah Sharifzadeh was arrested during the winter of 2024 and was later released on bail. 

Sharifzadeh, a mountaineer from Saqqez, has a history of arrests and legal issues related to his activities.
