Abdullah Sharifzadeh, a resident of Saqqez, has been arrested and transferred to the city’s prison to serve his sentence.
According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, October 20, 2024, Sharifzadeh was detained to begin serving his ten-month prison sentence.
He had previously been convicted by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Saqqez, presided over by Judge Javad Mostafaei, on charges of “propaganda against the regime in favor of an opposition party.”
Sharifzadeh, a mountaineer from Saqqez, has faced prior arrests and judicial confrontations.
