Sanandaj: Security Forces Search the Home of Mokhtar Asadi, Teachers’ Union Activist

The home of Mokhtar Asadi, a teachers’ union activist residing in Sanandaj, was searched by security forces.

According to Kolbarnews, citing the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers’ Trade Associations, on Sunday, August 18, 2024, security forces searched the home of Mokhtar Asadi. During the search, while Mr. Asadi was not present, the security forces treated his family members harshly while inspecting his personal residence.

It is worth noting that Mr. Asadi was summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Office in May of this year and was interrogated. Mokhtar Asadi has a history of arrests and legal confrontations due to his union activities.
