Sanandaj: Kamal Akherati Arrested by Security Forces

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 24, 2025, Kamal Akherati, a citizen of Sanandaj, was detained by security forces the day after widespread strikes in Kurdish cities, including Sanandaj, Saqqez, Kamiyaran, Divandarreh, and Marivan. These strikes were held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in protest against execution sentences.

Reports indicate that security forces carried out the arrest violently and without presenting a judicial warrant.
