Sanandaj: Binyamin Rahimpour Released on Bail

Binyamin Rahimpour, a resident of Sanandaj, has been temporarily released from prison after posting a bail of 500 million tomans.

According to Kolbernews, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, Binyamin Rahimpour, a resident of Avihang village near Sanandaj, was released from prison after 19 days of detention. His release was granted upon posting a 500 million toman bail using a shop deed as collateral, pending the completion of judicial proceedings.

The report states that Rahimpour was denied access to a lawyer and family visits during his detention.

On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, security forces arrested the 33-year-old Rahimpour by raiding his workplace. The arrest, described as violent, took place at his shop, after which he was transferred to the Shahramfar IRGC Intelligence Detention Center.

As of the time of this report, the reasons for his arrest and the charges against him remain unknown.
