Piranshahr; Torture and Beating of Two Women by Security Forces

Estei Choghar and Saadat Bayezidi, the grandmother and mother of political activist Farzin Tout, were subjected to torture and beating by security forces. As a result of the assault, six of Saadat Bayezidi’s teeth were broken.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, February 16, 2025, 80-year-old Estei Choghar and 45-year-old Saadat Bayezidi, the grandmother and mother of political activist Farzin Tout, were beaten and tortured by intelligence forces of the IRGC in Piranshahr. The report states that six of Saadat Bayezidi’s teeth were broken due to the torture inflicted by security forces.

According to an informed source, IRGC intelligence forces raided the family’s home, destroying and breaking household belongings while torturing members of the family.
