Mohammad Mohammadi (Sheikhali), a citizen from the village of “Shinabad” in Piranshahr County, has been arrested and transferred to Naghadeh Prison for the execution of his prison sentence.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, Mohammad Mohammadi (Sheikhali), a resident of the village of “Shinabad” and one of the detainees of the Jina revolutionary movement, was arrested to serve a two-year prison sentence and transferred to the city prison of Naghadeh.
According to the report, Mr. Mohammadi had previously been sentenced to two years of discretionary imprisonment by the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Piranshahr on charges of “collaboration with one of the opposition parties to the Iranian government.” This sentence was upheld in full by the Court of Appeals.
On Sunday, October 30, 2022, Mohammad Mohammadi (Sheikhali) was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to a security detention facility in Urmia for interrogation. He was later transferred to Naghadeh Prison after two months of questioning.
