Ramyar Mohammadzadeh, a resident of Sardasht living in Piranshahr, has been sentenced to 32 months of imprisonment by the Islamic Republic’s judicial system.
According to Kolbarnews, the 19-year-old Ramyar Mohammadzadeh, from Sardasht and resident of Piranshahr, was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad on charges of “propaganda against the regime” and “collaboration with an opposition party.” He received a 32-month custodial prison sentence.
Ramyar Mohammadzadeh was arrested during Nowruz celebrations alongside two other individuals, Mohammad Mashroei-Asl and Moein Hosseinzadeh. In early October this year, he was summoned by the Execution of Sentences department and transferred to Naqadeh Prison.
On Monday, March 25, 2024, Ramyar was arrested at his father’s home during a violent raid by intelligence forces. After nearly two months in detention, he was temporarily released on bail.
