Fereydoun Nabi, a citizen from Piranshahr, was arrested to serve his prison sentence.
According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 2, 2025, Fereydoun Nabi, a 22-year-old resident of Piranshahr, who had previously been sentenced to 7 years and 11 months in prison, was arrested and transferred to Naqadeh Central Prison to serve his sentence.
Mr. Nabi was sentenced to 43 months in prison on charges of “membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the regime” and “assembly and collusion.” In another case, he was sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment and a fine of 2.5 million tomans for “disturbing public order” and “insulting Khamenei.”
Fereydoun Nabi was temporarily released on May 9, 2023, after 286 days of detention, on a bail of 5 billion tomans.
