Karim Molaalizadeh, a resident of Oshnavieh, was summoned and interrogated by the county’s Intelligence Department. His summons was related to the organization of Nowruz celebrations.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Karim Molaalizadeh was called to the Intelligence Office of Oshnavieh. Reports indicate that after appearing at the office, he was interrogated for several hours before being released.
The report states that his questioning was specifically related to the way Nowruz celebrations were being held in Oshnavieh.
Security officials reportedly informed Molaalizadeh that these celebrations must be conducted within the government’s approved framework.
Karim Molaalizadeh is a civil and environmental activist from Oshnavieh and a former board member of the Zhinko environmental association.
