Idris Karsaz, a resident of Oshnavieh, has been temporarily released from the city’s prison after posting a 600 million toman bail.
According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, Idris Karsaz was released from Oshnavieh prison on bail until the completion of his legal proceedings. It is noted that during his detention, he was denied access to legal counsel.
As of the time of this report, the charges against him remain undisclosed.
Idris Karsaz, 55 years old and a resident of Oshnavieh, was arrested on July 4, 2024, by security forces at his home in Oshnavieh without a judicial warrant. He was subsequently transferred to the Intelligence Department’s detention center in Urmia and later moved to Oshnavieh prison after the interrogation process.
