Diako Azizi, a resident of Oshnavieh, has been sent to the city’s prison to serve his prison sentence.
According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, Diako Azizi, a resident of the village of Bab Khalidabad near Oshnavieh, was transferred to prison to serve a 16-month prison sentence. He was previously convicted by Branch 101 of the Oshnavieh Criminal Court under Judge Ansari on charges of “connection and collaboration with an opposition party.”
The court session addressing his charges was held on October 27, 2024, with the verdict issued three days later.
Diako Azizi was initially arrested by security forces on Wednesday, August 25, 2024, and taken to an undisclosed location. After completing the interrogation process, he was temporarily released on bail until the conclusion of judicial proceedings.
