According to Kolbarnews, Loqman Zangi, a 52-year-old resident of the village “Kani Sourak” near Oshnavieh, has been missing since his arrest. After being detained, he was transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation, and he has since been denied access to a lawyer or contact with his family. The family’s inquiries about his condition have yielded no results.
Loqman Zangi was arrested by security forces on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, without a judicial warrant and was taken to an unknown location. As of the time of this report, the reasons for his arrest and the charges against him remain unknown.
