Amir Rahmani, a resident of Oshnavieh, was arrested and transferred to the city’s prison to serve his prison sentence.
According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, Amir Rahmani, a resident of Oshnavieh, was detained to serve his sentence and transferred to Oshnavieh Prison.
Amir Rahmani was initially arrested by security forces in Oshnavieh on March 18, 2024, and transferred to a security detention center in Urmia. After completing the interrogation process, he was moved to Oshnavieh Prison and eventually released on bail.
Later, Amir Rahmani was sentenced by Branch 1 of the Oshnavieh Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Ansari, to three years of suspended imprisonment, one year of imprisonment, and a fine of 40 million tomans for charges of “membership in an opposition party and propaganda against the regime.”
Amir Rahmani had previously been arrested during the nationwide protests of 2022 and has a history of detention.
