According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, August 30, 2024, a fire broke out in the orchards and palm groves of Kashig Village in Nikshahr County, inflicting heavy losses on the farmers.
Due to a delay of several hours in dispatching fire trucks, the fire caused extensive damage to the palms and orchards. Even after the fire department arrived, it took several hours to fully extinguish the flames.
