The deceased Sukhtbar been identified as Omid Sarani, a 28-year-old resident of Zabol, married with children.

Local sources reported that around 3:00 a.m., Nehbandan emergency forces pursued the vehicle, causing it to veer off course and overturn. The driver succumbed to his injuries, and his body was taken by military personnel to Nehbandan, where it was placed in the morgue.

According to reports from Baluch activists, in the first six months of 2024, at least 133 Baluch Sukhtbars have died from shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, with another 80 injured in these incidents, including nine children.
