Omid Abdouli, a resident of Naqadeh, lost his life due to electrocution while at work.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Wednesday, May 7, 2025, a worker from the city of Naqadeh died as a result of a workplace accident.
The identity of the deceased has been confirmed as “Omid Abdouli,” a resident of Naqadeh.
According to the report, Mr. Abdouli was a metal scaffolding technician who died from electrocution due to a lack of safety measures and necessary standards at the worksite.
In total, 2,115 workers (2,094 men and 21 women) lost their lives in work-related accidents in the year 1402 (March 2023–March 2024), marking an 11.3% increase compared to the previous year, which saw 1,900 fatalities.
