Marivan: Omid Sajadi Released on Bail

Seyed Omid Sajadi, a resident of Marivan, has been released on bail after 50 days of detention.

According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, January 27, 2025, Omid Sajadi, a 33-year-old from the village of Kalaji in Sarvabad County, was temporarily released from Marivan Central Prison upon posting a 500-million-toman bail, pending the completion of legal proceedings.

He was arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on December 9, 2024, and was initially held at the Shahramfar detention center in Sanandaj before being transferred to Marivan Prison.

Reports indicate that during his detention, Sajadi was denied access to legal representation and visits with his family.

It is worth noting that the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic have accused Omid Sajadi of collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party.
