Marivan; Celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8

A group of freedom-seeking and equality-demanding women and men, along with civil activists in the city of Marivan, held a ceremony to commemorate International Women’s Day.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, March 7, 2025, a large gathering of activists and advocates for freedom and equality in Marivan celebrated March 8 with a grand ceremony.

Reports indicate that activists from the women’s movement and civil society in the cities of Sanandaj, Bukan, Baneh, and Marivan have organized similar International Women’s Day events.
