On Saturday, June 8, 2024, a citizen from Marivan identified as Haidar Fattahi was arrested by plainclothes officers at his home and transferred to the Marivan Intelligence Office.
According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, plainclothes officers from the Marivan Intelligence Office raided the home of Haidar Fattahi, a resident of Marivan in the “Se-Rah Ney” area. After searching his home, they arrested and abducted him. The intelligence forces then transferred him to the Marivan Intelligence Detention Center.
A knowledgeable source informed Kolbarnews that Mr. Fattahi is facing charges of “collaboration with one of the Kurdish parties opposing the regime.” The source also reported that Fattahi has been on a hunger strike since his arrest, and his health condition is currently deteriorating.
