Wahab Khadiripour, a resident of Mahabad, has been temporarily released from prison after one month of detention upon posting bail.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Wahab Khidiripour, a 31-year-old citizen of Mahabad, was released on temporary bail of 500 million tomans until the completion of his legal proceedings.
During his detention, he was denied access to a lawyer and family visits. After interrogation, he was transferred from the Intelligence Detention Center in Mahabad to the city’s prison.
On January 29, 2025, Khadiripour was arrested after being summoned to the Mahabad Intelligence Office. Prior to this, on January 26, 2025, security forces had raided his home and searched his belongings.
The reasons for his arrest and the charges against him remain unclear.
Wahab Khadiripour is married and a father of two. He is also the cousin of Shamal Khadiripour, one of the victims of the “Jina” revolutionary uprising.
