Mahabad: Mohammad Aminifar Sentenced to Prison

Mohammad Aminifar (known as Jokhur), a resident of Naqadeh, has been sentenced to 29 months in prison by the First Branch of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court.

According to Kulbarnews, the ruling was recently issued by Judge Sajad Dosti, sentencing Mohammad Aminifar to 29 months imprisonment on charges of “membership in one of the opposition parties to the regime.”

Mr. Aminifar was arrested by security forces on December 31, 2023. He was subsequently transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation and later released from Naqadeh prison on bail of 2 billion tomans after the investigation process was completed.

Mohammad Aminifar (Jokhur), the son of Fattah, was born on September 21, 1984.
