Kolbar Killings: 904 Kolbars Killed and Injured During Ebrahim Raisi’s Presidency

During the presidency of Ebrahim Raisi, the appointed president of Iran, from August 3, 2021, to Sunday, May 19, 2024, a total of 904 Kolbars were killed and injured.

According to Kolbarnews, from Raisi’s inauguration on August 3, 2021, until his death on Sunday, May 19, 2024, a total of 904 Kolbars were killed and injured in the border areas of Kurdistan. Of these 904, 119 Kolbars (13%) were killed and 785 Kolbars (87%) were injured. Of the total 904 incidents, 691 cases (76%) involved direct shooting by regime military forces.

The breakdown by year is as follows:

Year 2021 (from August 3 to the end of the year):

  – Killed: 18

  – Injured: 120

  – Total: 138

Year 2022:

  – Killed: 39

  – Injured: 195

  – Total: 234

Year 2023:

  – Killed: 44

  – Injured: 400

  – Total: 444

Year 2024 (until May 19):

  – Killed: 18

  – Injured: 70

  – Total: 88

Total Kolbar casualties during Ebrahim Raisi’s presidency:
