A 12-year-old fifth-grade student, lost his life after falling from a cable car while crossing a river.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, a fifth-grade student in the nomadic region of Garmishan Majin, while attempting to cross the Simreh River using a cable car, fell into the river due to the rope breaking and lost his life.
The identity of this student, Siavash Beyranvand, 12 years old, and a resident of Khorramabad, has been confirmed by Kolbarnews.
According to this report, the lifeless body of the child was retrieved from the water after several hours and was buried on April 4, 2024.
A cable car (Gargar) is a thick wire rope that has two iron pulleys at its ends. To use it, one must sit on it and move the pulleys by hand. Traveling by cable car involves numerous dangers, such as finger amputation, rope breakage, imbalance of the basket, and the basket being suspended mid-route due to freezing, cold, wear, or rope breakage.
