Khash: Death of a Baloch Sukhtbar Due to IRGC Shooting

A Baloch Sukhtbar lost his life following a shooting by IRGC forces at the Rotak border.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, a Baloch Sukhtbar named Noor Mohammad Barahui was killed after IRGC forces opened fire at the Rotak border in Khash County.

The report states that IRGC officers had ordered Noor Mohammad to stop. Despite raising his hands to indicate his surrender, the officers shot at him without any warning.

Noor Mohammad was severely injured by the gunfire and was taken to a military base. Witnesses who saw his critical condition requested that he be taken to a hospital. However, the IRGC forces refused to dispatch an ambulance, claiming they didn’t have one.

According to a knowledgeable source, after several hours of bleeding, Mr. Barahui’s relatives transported him to the hospital in a private vehicle, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
