On the morning of Friday, June 7, 2024, a traffic accident near Bani Golam, Javanroud resulted in the death and injury of 18 seasonal workers.
According to Kolbarnews, a Nissan pickup truck carrying several seasonal workers collided with a Dena vehicle near Bani Golam, Javanroud. The accident resulted in the death of one worker, identified as Fateh Darvishi from Javanroud, and left 17 other workers seriously injured.
Some of the injured workers were transferred to medical centers in Kermanshah due to the severity of their injuries, while others are receiving treatment in Javanroud.
In addition to being one of the most dangerous countries for workers, Iran also has some of the most hazardous road conditions, leading to frequent accidents.
