Hormozgan: Three Months of Unpaid Wages for Kish Wood Workers

Workers at the Kish Wood factory have not received their wages and bonuses for three months.

According to Kolbarnews, about 130 workers at the Kish wood factory in Hormozgan Province have not received their wages and bonuses for three months. The workers are extremely dissatisfied with the current situation and are demanding that their issues be addressed.

One of the Kish wood workers expressed: “Despite three months passing since the start of the new year, we have not received any wages. We are also still owed last year’s bonus from the employer.”

He added: “Recently, the employer managed to pay the workers’ February wages by securing several new orders. They have also promised to pay the March wages by the end of June.”

However, the Kish wood workers do not trust the employer’s promises. They say that the employer has repeatedly promised to pay the overdue wages, but none of these promises have been fulfilled.

These workers, currently grappling with severe financial difficulties, only hope that the ongoing factory projects will be completed soon. They are optimistic that the completion of these projects will provide the necessary funds to pay their overdue wages.
