Dehgolan: Pouria Ahmadi Released on Bail

Pouria Ahmadi, the nephew of Shadman Ahmadi, one of the victims of the Jina Revolution, has been released from prison after posting 600 million tomans in bail.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Pouria Ahmadi was temporarily released until the completion of legal proceedings. He was arrested in early February without a court order by security forces in Dehgolan.

During his detention, he was denied access to a lawyer and family visits.

The reasons for his arrest remain unknown, and authorities have not disclosed any official charges.

Pouria Ahmadi, 26 years old, has a history of prior arrests and legal confrontations due to his activism. His uncle, Shadman Ahmadi, was killed during the nationwide protests of 2022.
