According to Kolbarnews, students from the village of Korkach in the Pirsehrab district of Chabahar County have to cross a river without a bridge. They are forced to walk on a rope tied on both sides of the river. As they walk on this rope, they maintain their balance on the lower rope by holding onto another rope tied slightly higher.
One of the residents of this village, who captured this video, writes: “For many parents, sending their children to school by car or bus is one of the most dangerous parts of sending them to school. But if you just take a look at the situation of these Baloch children going to school in the village of Korkach, you will see that the story of these children going to school goes beyond the imaginable risks that parents in other parts of Iran endure to send their children to school. Children who are deprived of education, which is one of their fundamental rights, or they have to risk their lives for it.”
