Ahmad Hassanzadeh, the father of the deceased Mohammad Hassanzadeh, was released on heavy bail, while his daughter Solmaz Hassanzadeh was transferred to Urmia Prison.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Ahmad Hassanzadeh was temporarily released on a bail of 4 billion tomans. Meanwhile, Solmaz Hassanzadeh, sister of the deceased Mohammad Hassanzadeh, remains in detention and has been transferred to the women’s ward of Urmia Prison.
The Hassanzadeh family, known for seeking justice for the death of Jina during the protests in Bukan, were violently arrested at their home by intelligence forces from Bukan on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Mohammad Hassanzadeh was killed on November 16, 2022, during the Jina uprising in Bukan, shot by the regime’s suppressive forces.
