Bukan: Release of Abdollah Qolizadeh and Hemin Qolizadeh on Bail

Abdollah Qolizadeh and his son, Hemin Qolizadeh, have been temporarily released from Bukan prison after posting bail of 500 million tomans each, pending the conclusion of legal proceedings.

According to Kolbarnews, in recent days, Abdollah Qolizadeh and his son Hemin were released temporarily after depositing the required bail. During their detention, both individuals were reportedly denied access to legal counsel and family visits.

On Saturday, November 30, 2024, Abdollah Qolizadeh and his son Hemin were arrested by security forces in Bukan and transferred to an undisclosed location. The security forces reportedly raided their family home without presenting a judicial warrant and used violence during the arrests.

Both individuals were subsequently transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges against them.
