Bukan: Continued Uncertainty Over the Fate of Manijeh Khoshnoud

Manijeh Khoshnoud, a resident of Bukan, remains in detention without charges or communication 27 days after her arrest. The lack of information about her condition has increased the concerns of her family and close ones.

According to Kolbarnews, despite the passage of more than twenty-seven days since her arrest, Manijeh Khoshnoud is still being held in detention. 

Her family has been actively seeking information from security agencies in Bukan and Urmia, but they have not received any clear answers regarding her condition or location. This has heightened the anxiety of her relatives and family members. Ms. Khoshnoud has been denied the right to contact her family, have visits, or access legal representation.

Manijeh Khoshnoud, 56 years old and a resident of Bukan, was arrested by security forces on August 1, 2024. As of the time of this report, the charges against her remain unknown.
