Bukan: Continued Pressure by Security Forces on Medical Staff

Security forces in the city of Bukan have intensified pressure on the city’s medical staff by summoning and searching Dr. Amir Hadadi’s clinic.

According to Kolbarnews, quoting the Telegram channel of Volunteer Doctors and Nurses of Kurdistan, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, more than fifteen intelligence and security officers stormed the clinic of Dr. Amir Hadadi, a radiologist in Bukan, searching the premises, reviewing patient lists, and seizing mobile phones, computers, and camera memory devices from the clinic.

Additionally, reports from Monday and Tuesday indicated that several doctors in Bukan were summoned and interrogated by the city’s intelligence agency. Security forces have reportedly tried to pressure these doctors into cooperating with them.

The Volunteer Doctors and Nurses of Kurdistan is an entirely independent group of medical staff from Kurdistan that, during the Zhina revolution, has been covertly involved in providing aid, treating the wounded, and transporting medicine and medical supplies to Kurdish cities.
