Bukan: Arrest of Father and Sister of Mohammad Hassanzadeh, a martyr of the Jona Uprising

security forces in Bukan arrested Ahmad Hassanzadeh and Solmaz Hassanzadeh, the father and sister of Mohammad Hassanzadeh, who was killed during the Jina uprising.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, security forces in the city of Bukan raided the home of Ahmad Hassanzadeh, arresting him and his daughter Solmaz Hassanzadeh without presenting any judicial warrant.

The report states that during the raid on Mr. Hassanzadeh’s home and their arrest, the security forces used violence and force, resulting in injuries to “Dayeh Azimeh,” the mother of the deceased Mohammad Hassanzadeh, who is now hospitalized at Hospital in Bukan.

Additionally, the security forces confiscated personal belongings, including mobile phones and surveillance cameras from the house and neighboring homes.

Mohammad Hassanzadeh was killed by gunfire from regime suppression forces on November 16, 2022, during the Jina uprising in the city of Bukan.
