Bandar Abbas: Death of a Worker Due to Fall from a Building

A Baluch worker lost his life after falling from the eighth floor of an unfinished building.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, a 45-year-old Baluch worker identified as “Rahim Bakhsh Abdollahi,” married and father of three, from Chah Hasham Plain, Delgan County, fell from the eighth floor of an unfinished building while working and lost his life.

It is reported that the eighth floor of this building was unfinished and lacked railings and protective barriers, leading to Mr. Abdollahi’s fatal fall.

Iran ranks 102nd globally in terms of workplace safety standards—a very low ranking. It is one of the most unsafe countries in terms of workplace safety, with many workers facing accidents annually due to the lack of workplace safety measures.
