138 Kolbars Killed or Injured in the Past Two Months

According to Kolbarnews statistics, from September 23rd to November 18th, a total of 138 Kolbars, including 8 children, were killed or injured in Kurdistan’s border regions due to factors such as direct shooting by border forces, beatings by military forces, and stepping on mines.
Among these, 6 Kolbars were killed, and 132 were injured.
Out of the total 138 casualties, 127 cases (92%) resulted from direct shooting by military forces.

It’s important to note that most incidents occurred in border areas of HangeJal – Baneh with 85 cases, Nowsud – Kermanshah with 33 cases and in Saqqez, Marivan, Piranshahr, Nodsheh, and Teteh Ooraman.

Moreover, in the first six months of this year, 13 Kolbar’s were killed, and 72 others were injured, with 77 cases (91%) being a result of direct shooting by military forces.
