1,344 Kolbars killed and injured; Statistical report on the occasion of the seventh year of Kolbarnews’ initiation and operation

According to the statistics of Kolbarnews, in the past six years, from the beginning of Kolbarnews operations on July 17, 2017, until July 17, 2023, a total of 1,344 Kolbars have been killed or injured in the border areas of Kurdistan. Out of this number, 341 Kolbars were killed, and 1,003 others were injured. Out of the total 1,344 casualties, 998 cases (equivalent to 74%) were the result of direct military shootings.

According to Kolbarnews, the statistics of Kolbar casualties in the past six years, divided by year, are as follows:

From July 17, 2017, to the beginning of 2018:
Killed: 16
Injured: 31
Total: 47

Year 2018:
Killed: 70
Injured: 158
Total: 228

Year 2019:
Killed: 80
Injured: 183
Total: 263

Year 2020:
Killed: 67
Injured: 163
Total: 230

Year 2021:
Killed: 54
Injured: 167
Total: 221

Year 2022:
Killed: 43
Injured: 215
Total: 258

From the beginning of 2023 to July 17, 2023:
Killed: 11
Injured: 59
Total: 70
